From the chart of HWD we can see the huge volume spike from Friday's trading. The stock has resistance @$.25 it's 50MA. If volume is an early indicator it should test this resistance next week. JMO

HIGHWOOD OBTAINS EXTENSION FOR REPAYMENT OF DEBT
Highwood's principal lender has agreed to an amendment of the settlement
agreement as reported in Stockwatch Oct. 4, 2001, which amendment provides
an extension of the time for Highwood's repayment of $1.5-million from Dec.
15, 2001, to Jan. 15, 2002. As previously announced, Highwood anticipates
using the proceeds from its current rights offering, now expected to be
completed on Jan. 14, 2002, to make the required $1.5-million payment with
the remainder of the proceeds being added to working capital. Dynatec,
Highwood's principal shareholder, has agreed, as standby purchaser under
the rights offering, to subscribe for not less than $1.5-million of common
shares of Highwood.
