In the short term you're right. If this is short covering by Enron, then it likely will be a false start. If it is the market realising a shortage of silver, then we are off to the races.

If I thought silver would/could really go below $4 then I would be a trader. I would be foolish to be otherwise. BAY could easily be sub $1.25 if that happen.

I happen to think sub $4 will not happen. But I am just a little guy, the big guys call the shots.
