<< edit How about HBA's ? >>

Brcd gets most of their revenue from FC Switching. I dont believe they even make FC HBAs. That segment is dominated by the other two in the Q though. I believe most of Emlx's Rev is from FC HBAs, currently. Qlgc is more
diversified, making most rev from FC HBAs, but they also make controllers and SCSI products. They also make FC switches, but are no where near as formidable in this specific category as the two leaders, Brcd and Mcdt.

I think most of these companies will be making iSCSI (CSCO is pushing this) and IB (Infiniband) products soon too. Some are predicting both or one of these newer technologies
take over Fibre Channel (FC). But some people also said GE (Gigabit Ethernet) would do the same to FC and it didn't. The SANs of the future will most likely be a hodgepodge of many technologies.

all imho
