Also known these days as taking fertility drugs then culling the herd when too many are fertilized.....
or genetic engineering to choose the sex and physical characteristics of a child at conception.
Or, the practice of checking for downs syndrome right after conception and giving parents the choice then and there whether they want to procede with the pregnancy. Yep, right there in the Ob/gyn office.
