Because Muslims in the U.S. have it good. They have economic opportunities and security for their families. They may send money, but they aren't as eager to become martyrs, because they know they have it good. The Muslims in the Middle East are participating in willful and blind ignorance in their extremist ways. If they had what the American Muslims had, then more than likely, they wouldn't be extremists. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. So I'm sure you will find crazy American Muslims. But those are a minority here. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs again.
