Bill: I am not mixing anything. Your post refers to job loss from American companies going offshore to produce -- I have not been referring to this at all. A strong dollar is good for America and the wealth of Americans, but the fact is that we are achieving a strong dollar in a way that is not sustainable -- namely by selling assets and debt to fill the gap of $400 billion per year which we come up short to pay for our foreign purchases of goods. This is not sustainable in the long run and it will cost us when the tide turns.
