Dear John Busby:

Why has SI gotten so slow? Before your maintenance, loads would start within 5 seconds. Now its more like 45 seconds. Please fix it!

Thanks for hanging in there, everyone. We completed some much needed database work, which ended up finishing just after 11:00 PM ET last night.

The test run only took about 2 hours, but the live run encountered some slowness which took a while to diagnose and fix. The result should be quicker loadtimes for some pages and database calls.
