Nationwide LMDS - and the licenses went to people with towers. I've heard that Telia's GSM masts cover 96% of the populace, but these licenses are for capacity - "The users of fixed radio access are expected to primarily be businesses that need rapid broadband communication."

Be interesting to see if the popular speed per building is E-3 or n*E-1.

Telia, after delaying ADSL for a long time saw Bredbansbolaget runing away with the Broadband (BB) market. But it can't kill Bredbandsbolaget like the US ILECs did with the Rhythms and co.
It is now trying to get back by implementing LMDS which has been a loser everywhere in the world. The only thing the FWA of Telia is good for is for backhaul 3G traffic.
