ATG, in spite of today's strong showing of the dollar index i continue to agree with this. several important, relatively recent fundamental developments have taken place: 1. European direct investment flows to the US have decreased markedly , and 2. Middle Eastern interests have begun to quietly remove investments from the US for fear that they may be frozen in the course of the anti terrorism campaign. this latter development could have a huge impact if it begins to snowball. 850 billion dollars in investments are estimated to be at stake.
