interesting. 1/8th of the nas 100 is turning over. when tech collapses and the index languishes let's just invent a new index and throw a bunch of biotech firms in there to get it moving up again. that's why it's so important to pay attention to the broad market rather than a few high profile indices. most people think the bear market started in spring 2000 because that's when the major indices peaked.

actually, the bear market started around the spring of 1998.
