ws, Retailers Slash Prices Again Retailers Struggling With Disappointing Sales Slash Their Prices Further I was wondering whether or not to post some anedoctal evidence for this headline or not. Thanks for posting this. I was amazed while shopping this weekend to see that the price-cutting has already started a week and a half before Christmas. Toys R Us and Tower Records both had significant mark-downs on some of the current toys and albums. Apparently they're not waiting for the post-Christmas period. Just an anecdotal note. Dave
