AD and other option traders:

It seems the consensus on this thread is that AMAT will stay above 40. It has held up better than I expected over the last few weeks. If it holds up, perhaps I should buy back my 1/19/02 call I wrote at 35 if I don't want the stock called. For example, the asking price for the December 35 call is $8.40 and it expires this Friday, so waiting until the last minute may not help me. I'll lose some money, but I don't want to give the stock up for $40.30 a share. I figure I can wait until the last week before I make my decision and in the meantime sell at any decent drop in the share price.

I am rather new at this, so any constructive advice would be appreciated. Perhaps I went a little too deep in the money this time.
