the picture is a file, likely with a .gif or .jpg extension. you cannot paste a file to SI. in order to make it visible to others ( other than emailing) you have to put it on a website. once put on the website, it would have an URL and you could type the URL address here so we could all see the pic example: photocritique.net

Your internet connection probably comes with web space. You need to upload the picture and provide the link. There are also many free sites such as www.tripod.com. Here's the link to a pic from one of my sites. West coast Vancouver Island along the Juan de Fuca trail (Nikon 990 Coolpix).
