"God is not just a God of love, but IS love."JC- God is more than just love. That is a hippie concept that is erroneous.... All you need is Love ? The Love you take is equal to the love you make ? These are not just erroneous "hippie concepts " but drawn from Hinduism & also from the best of human experience . In Vaishnaivite Hinduism the Lord God Vishnu is seen as the One Source of Creation and creates Universes as flowers creat pollen . Vishnu sent the Messiah Krishna to awaken and to purify , as well as clarify men's thoughts ...but even more . To also teach man finer discrimination in percieving the phenomena that happens around him , the illusion and confusion. It was once the thrust of the Catholic Church to try and make it seem that the Hindus created Krishna to emulate their superior "Christ" figure , but that failed miserably and was only gotten away with for a time, at the turn of the century . The Baghavad Gita , or the Song of Krishna stands today as one of the greatest spiritual sagas and Gospels of the world. That's why Christianity cannot prosyletise or convert Hindus for when you tell the story of "Jesus the Christ" , most every Hindu in India has already heard the story , in fact were telling it , and knew it before there was a Jesus the Rabbai . If God only loved and was not also a judge of humanity than everyone, Osama, Odie Colone, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd,Hitler, Saddam Hussien would be accepted into paradise because God could only be love and not one who must also temper His love with judgement of the damned Maybe if you used a little more discrimination and a little less judging , and strove to know your own roots and self , there wouldn't be so much hardship on the inter~relationships between cultures. The greatest duress upon human history was not brought on by the Hindu followers of Krishna I can assure you. And what you have seen of the "Krishna" movement in America is not the same or is sanctioned by the 1/2 Billion Hindu followers of Krishna in India . It is a separate entity and movement , but harmless to a degree. There is a literal hell, I can assure you, and Christ the righteous judge will send all unsaved heathen to that place for eternity! That is one of the greatest erroneous doctrines ever invented . You pride yourself in believing it ? Search for love ,compasion and deep discrimination you will be much happier , Santiago.
