"The Kingdom of Heaven is within you the world and evil without? Alan

This is what I am referring to. Those who have the Kingdom within their hearts are surrounded by the evil around them.

"14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Revelation 22

The son of perdition-

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 11 Thess. 2:3

The son of perdition is also called the beast of Revelation.
He is a man whom I believe is Qsr Neron or as he was called by the Romans, the living god himself, Nero.

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Rev. 13:18

"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed." Rev. 13:15

(Emperor worship- The Ceasars were called living gods.) Nero liked to use Jews as lightpoles in Rome by putting them on a pole and setting fire to them to give light at night. His savagery towards the Jew and even members of his own family had no equal.

The known world at that time did not include North and South America. Paul's comment that the Gospel had been preached to the whole world was the world as they knew it. The Middle East and Europe.

Thanks for asking Alan. I am not a good teacher and I hope that you will understand that I am only attempting to answer your questions and at the same time fearing that I may mis-quote God's Word- Heaven forbid.
