And yes I remembered that you posted something but didn't recall exactly. ----------------- Free maybe available if you do a search on the net. I know a place like Yahoo Finance has free historical data. There are probably others. Search to your hearts content. I did so much earlier when I was undertaking the exercise myself, for myself. I found the free data at that time to be incomplete in some instances , lacking in others and completely wrong at others. Thats why I chose to pay for the far back stuff. For current and ongoing updates I do use a free service I found. I carefully randomly check other free and pay sources just to confirm the authenticity of the data. As anyone should ------------------------------ Of course you may be one who thinks I do not offer anything of value to these dicussions Now Peter, if you go back and read all my posts , documented here, tongue firmly planted in cheek, you'll see I'm neither one of 'these' nor 'those' , I'm just me. I certainly don't need to agree with you all the time to value your posts and you shouldn't expect everyone to agree with you all the time, that's life. --------------- I don't expect anyone to just plain agree with me. What I do expect is that people look to the evidence presented and from that make an informed decision for themselves. That is what I have been saying all along. I have presented loads of evidence some choose to outright ignore it and call it BS. Ignoring it or calling it BS doesn't necessarily make it so. But that is their right. As I present evidence to backup what I say, so to do I expect that others do the same. No more no less. As it should be. That others don't or won't or can't should be taken for what it means. I have been participating in a number of public forums like this for many years. And the one thing I keep hearing from joe average investor is. The amount of material discussed and presented is enormous how is one to decide which is legit and which isn't? From joe average himself I have gotten the same answer. It would be so very nice if someone who knew what he was talking about and who was successful at what he says, would not be so afraid to show that in a manner that joe could easily understand , check on and verify for themselves. And it is that which I do. ----------------- To you or others it may very well be BS (in your own minds though hardly by fact) But to those it is directed at and for, it is very useful to them. It provides balance and perspective to the discussion as I have been so told, even on this forum ( yes and that is documented ) by you guessed it, joe average. ---------------- Keep posting and I'll read em' just like I read Stan's posts, and everyone else's. I just skip all the bs. ;o) --------------- I will keep posting to this forum and others as I have been doing. I will present and I will defend. But I will also tear apart and ask for some backup to what is being presented.. And I will especially do so , the latter, if what is presented is intended as mere insult and taunting or blatant misinformation and lies just to entice joe average to undertake a method he may not be knowingly or willingly or able to do without the both and complete sides being presented to him. If that is BS to you then you can skip to your hearts content. I won't take it too personally. Just like others should not take my tearing apart too personally. But that is up to them.
