Worden Report...12/17 Technical Analysis on Strike The end-of-year market influences – involving such things as tax selling and arbitrage unwinding, or winding or rewinding or whatever – is too complex to take seriously. To make it just a little bit more unfathomable, this is a triple witching week. Anyway, nothing has happened to change our view that we are in the upper reaches of an intermediate top. Until yearend, however, it seems most likely the market to will not be able to sustain a trend or do anything we can trust or expect to continue. Technical analysis just goes on strike at this time of the year. -DW
