We had to have it because Lynda was having premature labor and they needed to check for a certain enzyme which is associated with lung development. The question at the time was whether or not my son would be able to survive outside of the womb at 27-28 weeks. We told them not to tell us the sex or anything else. I held on to her hand for dear life. I was more scared than she was and it showed. In the end, she later told me she amused by how scared I was so at least I provided some comic relief. I've always had this inordinate fear of needles... JLA
