Indeed, Bush's war on terrorism should galvanise him to take the next step and make peace. He would thereby eliminate 90 per cent of the grievances Osama Bin Laden has cited against America. >>>>

Good naive article...I suppose using the same tactic, Bush will bring peace to Kashmire...not..
He has a right idea though, to crush terror groups and their sponsors with all might of USA, until they sue for peace, than cease the moment

PS Arafat is already shaking

Brilliant, DUH... More like idiotic. Your lead up and the article don't have anything to do with one another. The string tying together this argument is frayed beyond believe.

Israel cannot have peace with a neighbor whose population is stirred to annihalate it. While some Israel policies may help stir that pot, no one can doubt that the majority of the trouble comes not from Israel, but from Terror sponsor states, who benefit by having the Arab world focus on Israel rather than internal problems, by Europe who caters to this Terror Lobby, and by the PLO who helped refine the definition of terror throughout the later half of the twentieth century.

Blaming Israel for the problems of the middle east is stupid. Praising it blindly would also be stupid. But it takes two to Tango, and it takes two sides to reach a peace agreement. Israel does not now have a partner for peace. I hope that one day, the population of the Arab world and those who consider themselves as Palestinians, are educated to desire peace and the benefits therein over hatred and war.

Hi Gustave, let me ask you this: why is it the U.S.'s responsibility to impose peace in the Middle East? Are the Arabs and Israelis in the M.E. so lunatic and death-loving as to be completely incapable of searching for peace themselves? All of the world hates us because we get involved everywhere, trying to instill peace and economic prosperity. So when we step back for even a minute, everyone in the world then claims it is our responsibility to step in and impose peace. What an unbelievable double standard! If you want us to impose peace, rest assured you nor anyone else in the world will like our solution.
