Andre, I love the 2:00 am press release...

...about the c.c. That is so unusual. Is it possible you learned of the impending
changes before SanDisk did? That is really upsetting that SanDisk is just a pawn in
these negotiations. SanDisk may benefit long-term by scuttling the Dominion
plant and the attendant fixed costs, but this strategy was never vocalized by
Eli until the recent developments occured. In the meantime they shut down their
operations at UMC and now everything is shifting back to Japan. This must be
directed by Toshiba and SanDisk is forced to play along.

My apologies to Craig who apparently has credible inside sources and posted
many weeks ago about this. The consolidation appears to be a cost-cutting measure
though, and does not appear to be an indicator that Toshiba is leaving SanDisk
out in the cold. I think the opposite is true.

This cost-containing measure may explain the recent stock price appreciation for SNDK.
