MAXF - the IR guy confirmed the other day that the warrants are not a big deal, they may or may not be exercised but the net effect on the company is not very material. He suggested they may buy back the shares issued if they are forced to give out shares for the warrants. Almost 96% of these warrants were canceled in a tender in 1997; these are just the last scraps that suddenly became worth something.

I am mostly a fundies guy - who thinks MAXF is one of the best values around. Long from low 3's with a target around 10.

MAXF should zoom as I gave up on it and sold my shares yesterday. Once it finish calling in the warrants - they keep extending the date, it could be a very nice mover. Until then it may be a little slow. Last extension is end of December I believe.

In the mean time AVL mentioned this morning is doing pretty well today. I picked some up at 7.60 after it pulled back this am.
