Sure, that's the attitude at many, if not nearly all, large companies, but the market just isn't segmented that much. It's almost like saying Ford has a monopoly on Explorers ;-).

One area where you could say Intel has a monopoly is x86 servers. However, you don't need to go with x86 for that, so Intel doesn't have a "real" monopoly.

The same might even very well be true of your company. Why aren't you using Alpha's?

Ahh well, I guess we almost agree and probably won't get any closer&#133 ;-)
