Sheesh, I've noticed that Blair does NOT take this trusting attitude when he's talking to the IRA! I guess when the bombs are on your doorstep things look different. Nadine Carroll, You must be joking? The NI conflict started primarily because one section of the population (the Catholics) were treated as inferior second class citizens. Today all citizens of NI enjoy equal status as reasonably practicable by government. The IRA and protestant "political" prisoners have been released and some of them are even elected officials of government! Now you have told me that Israel "does not want" the West Bank (and the Gaza Strip)for demographic issues. Well get out then, military forces plus illegal settlers. Either that or give equal citizenship to the Palestinians. Sounds to me as if it just wants war.
