That MOT spike disappeared fast.

16:11 ET Motorola (MOT) 16.61 +0.34: -- Update -- Co comments that Global Telecom Solutions and Broadband Communications segments were weaker than expected. (Could be perceived as a negative for BRCM, which is trading $0.45 lower in after-hours).

BRCM seems to me like it's going to be a single-digit stock one of these days. I should have shorted them.

For Q1, co sees a loss of $0.11-$0.14 (consensus -$0.03). Co indicates it will experience a 14% sequential decline in revenue in Q1 (Wall Street had expected rev decline of approx. 4% in Q1).
