<<At any rate, we kept her around long after she said she was leaving immediately. So her honesty is already impugned. That, if nothing else, constitutes success. >>

You seem not to be able to get anything right, or have even the pitiful success you were celebrating. This is what i said:

I am going away for eight days, departing Thursday morning. I have much preparation to do, and won't be here for a while. But when I get back, if I remember, I want to tell a story about a visit a friend of mine made to a local mosque.

I'm leaving Thursday and should be packing and doing other leavetaking tasks. I was weak, as I said, and came back here and wasted more time than i should have, to the chagrin of my hubby. No dishonesty there, only a bit of time-management naughtiness.

But perhaps you would like to talk a bit more to us about your ideas about honesty. That would be interesting. Address Neocon, whom you fooled.
