I would note that the stimulas bill is really not about accounting for PCs...ie. depreciation period for accounting income under GAAP. For that the rules are set.
(just in case anyone is confused by this point)

The stimulas bill is really about reducing the corporate tax, writing off the cost of the computers quickly. The tax bill is reduced.

Bottom line. Corporation cash flow is improved. That is not a bad idea in this environment.
