perversely, this may encourage those with a lot to lose to pay even less attention. thus seeing Enron as the exception to an otherwise sound system.

to the extent that the market is a pyramid scheme instead of a means of transferring company profits to shareholders, it is hard to know when the cakewalk will end. except it can be said that all past cakewalks have ended...badly.
