Saw two gas stations this evening selling fuel below $1.00/gal, here in LA. Haven't seen THAT in a while!

Yo, Sal

From Briefing: 08:07 ET B of A on Storage : Banc of America Securities makes positive comments on Brocade (BRCD 33.78) and Emulex (EMLX 38.64); believes that both companies are on track to meet or exceed estimates for the current qtr, citing checks with multiple industry and channel sources; believes MCDTA and QLGC are on track to report in-line results.

Hi Sal

So what are you up to these days. Thanks for the post. That really clarifies a lot of things. So do you think the bear market has ended and which stocks do you like ? I am adding to some of the leaders like BRCD etc on weakness ,
of course the leadership could very easily change in the
next bull market.

Thanks
Anindo

Hi Sal- Good to see your posts again.

Have you chosen a career yet? Profile hasn't changed.

Here is one suggestion:

amazon.com

"Steinhardt possessed opportunism without illusions, ingrained scepticism, agnosticism to being short or long, an aggressive trading mentality, relentless focus on short-term absolute profitability and an obsession with timely, legal information on stocks. In other words, he provided the model for much of Wall Street's burgeoning hedge-fund industry. His story is worth reading by a wider audience than just those who would emulate his fabulous financial success."

Happy Holidays

Harvey
