Hi Henry,

Nope they all seem to be doing it.Nvls Lam too mant to list.

No one has really seen why. My guess is the turn will come slowly and later in 2002.At and during the bottoms consolidations occur i.e. Micron buying Toshiba and working now on Hynix.

I suspect aggressive semi's to do their turn as well - i.e brooks buying pria.

I doubt Cohu will do anything - they've paid cash for Schlumberger's cooling technology. That took 14 million. The rest I suspect, Cohu will keep as piece of mind assurance.

They are just not of scale to do such a move - maybe MCTI if they stay as cheap as they are.Buy them at a price they bought Aseco for - Assets and you end up with a customer list that you can sell gravity feed testhandlers to.

That would lock in the high end testhandlers and the low end as well.

They are and would be the undisputable testhandler maker of the globe. They could pay cash for that as well.

I think all the companies are doing convertibles now for cheap cash - they'll market their stock as currency when the prices get back up to new hi's.ggggg

Sounds like a dream now - but it will happen,

Get More !! Henry Get More !! - they're still CHEAP !!!!
