Cheap currency is good for primary product exporters. In Brazil the agribusiness was very happy happy with Real's devaluation.

Hi David, wife and I are going to Thailand tomorrow for friends' wedding on Saturday. Wife is bride's maid and so I will have to hangout with other buddies who are attending. Yes, I know, I am very fortunate:0) I will provide some anecdotes on what bottoms and the bottom of a cycle looks like on the street level. On gold, it looks as if my shorted NEM calls (22.5) and puts (20) will expire worthless tonight, paying for the Thai trip plus the rest of holiday season needs. I may do some short puts/covered calls tonight to finance my 1st quarter travel needs. Chugs, Jay
