you mean, we wouldn't hit 5,000 (on the NAS) this month? couldnt' agree more, Ron. This has been a huge rally, built likely more on faith than reality. mixed results so far in earnings projections, some strong: GE. others tepid. for trading tech is sure the place to be. for investing, think value and small cap sectors remain the more attractive. happy hunting. larry

time to short the techies that have run up?

will those be the ones sold for gains to offset the losers???

i know the stocks that haven't responsed in the past couple months will likely to stay dead, hint hint Z holders.

10 steps to becoming a full time trader:
1. sell everything, start with 100% cash
2. get powerful computer, with several monitors
3. get comfortable chair
4. remove all emotions from decision making
5. TTMAR
6. TTLAR (take the loss and run)
7. have several long blondes to rub neck when stiff
8. don't get stupid
9. don't get greedy
10. take the wife on at least 1 cruise, and several vacations, plus stand in front of mirror practicing: "yes dear"
