OT: 1 cent a minute is good just because it is unbundled and the carrier has had the
money to install and invest in billing software.

$5/gallon is also smart because it makes it smart to isolate houses, use more efficient
cars, an efficent public transportation and especially have the industry to be efficient in their
use of energy to produce goods at low cost.

No need to have riots, political unrest, frozen retirees or to go entrepeneurial bankrupt
when energy prices fluctuate and slowly increase.

Interestingly it takes some 30-60 years to renew both housing, transportation and
old, inefficient industry processes wasting energy, huge investments and demanding
a lot of know-how.

But I believe US has had some minimum efficency demand on airconditioners as well
as some gas guzzling tax for some time as well as market for pollution, but that
BTU tax was clearly too much for the economy.

Btw, in terms of energy, Kyoto already does most of the bashing.

Sexually, as in the backseat of the limousine with xxx-rated productions, even
sweden had a problem with a smart advertisement in Taiwan
(something about a young girl unbuttoning her shirt and some funny warnings
on a lot of bodily degenerations if below the age of 20)

Finland obviously already has laws against hate speech, and actually one law,
very ancient one, against being uninformed, the county is responsible for avoiding that,
through local, basic education paid by local flat taxes.

Btw,btw, old Nixon C-SPAN is great, one finds a lot of stuff there, and even Washington Journal is great every day.
