I'm not sure I understand what you are basing this on. If AMD did tape out Hammer, are you certain that they would announce it? That's a valid point. I do, however, vaguely remember a question about the status of the hammer tapeout either at or near the time of the last AMD conference call being answered in the negative. So that's the basis of my response. If hammer has taped out, it's been in the last 2 months... Given the slipping schedule, I'm not optimistic as to its status
