Spending is beyond out of control and the blame rests on all politicians.

It is no accident that spending goes out of control at the same time of the big tax cuts. Why? because in each case the leadership has basicly thown up it's hands declaring they don't care about any sort of fiscal responsibility. The attitude of irresponsibility lies firmly with Reagan and Bush Jr.

Reducing spending is desirable. But sometimes other things take precedence. Reagan expended political capital on things like defense, and had to deal on the budget. It is too bad.....
