I agree, taken alone VIX is not reliable to predict the short term. However, a persistent low VIX can eventually lead to big trouble down the road.

No prints between 19 and 21 as far as I can see. Two closes between 21 and 22 and three between 22 and 23 on a quick check. The rest higher but under 30.
