Not sure what I'll be doing regarding ABT. Likely will sell more or close out position if ABT breaks to new highs soon.

ABT's expensive, maybe too expensive, maybe it's mostly been too expensive. I don't see any other reason to short the stock - ABT's stock has overcome shoddy manufacturing, FDA fines, and price-fixing. What's the reason to short the stock other than the high price? (high in sense of vs. it's past financial ratios or that of competitors')

I don't use technical analysis. I rarely short stocks. And I rarely am successful in short-term scalping for a few points.

That said, ABT currently seems to me to be dancing around 52-55. Maybe a short for a couple of points might work if done at $55. If you're shorting just based on price vs. value, maybe you might look at WFMI as well.
