"As January goes, so goes the year". Everyone is looking for a "positiv"e January effect. Given that so many are looking for a positive January effect, I say we go down in January (assuming we don't completely crash the last days of 2001) <gg>

As I said, I expect a hard down (50% retracement at least) but am uncertain of the exact timing. Modest January strength followed by a big February drop is my best guess.
