Maybe we wouldn't have meddled with the economy so much during the 1930's...

If only the previous administrations had a better handle on the economy. Calvin Coolidge (Republican) from 1923-29 and Herbert Hoover (Republican) from 1929-34.

Roosevelt didn't get into office until 1934. Wasn't the crash in October of 1929?

I'm not saying that they were responsible for the crash but to blame Roosevelt for the depression and WWII is rather myopic on your part.

Maybe another leader could have gotten us safely through that dangerous period AND SPENT A LOT LESS MONEY DOING SO...(kind of like Reagan did in the 1980's...)

I remember the glorious days of government bailouts and trillion dollar deficits. Those were the days.

Reagan absolutely no credit for winning
the Cold War...

But, let me guess, you probably give Roosevelt huge credit for
winning WW2

Reagan's role in the cold war is more aptly compared to Truman's role in WWII. He was there for the final shove and the victory party.

I would advise you to stop trying to 'guess my views'.... You're not even close on them.

I actually find much to fault Roosevelt's actions, both in the years leading up to WWII, and during.

And, I don't "give Reagan absolutely no credit for winning
the Cold War...", just his fair share.
