Who is going to listen to sports say seven minutes each day Monday through Friday? That adds up to about $50 per month in Personal Calling phone charges. Onstar will be the thing that people will look back on (if GMGC is successful) as the item that made GMGC; but its revenues have been very late and will be very small compared to the early predictions. It is nevertheless a great technical achievement; and the development fees and equity investment pumped in $30 million in much needed cash since November 1999.
