The ACLU also supported the right of Nazis to march in Skokie. Does that make them Nazis? Are the musicians at fault if someone listening to them commits suicide? Is the movie studio at fault, or the director, or the writer, or the actor, if someone watching it goes out and commits a crime they just witnessed in the theater? Are you suggesting the killers in the NAMBLA case were really victims?

I suspect you might line up right next to Ashcroft as a purist when it comes to the Second Amendment, even if he stops an investigation into terrorist activities because of it.

The ACLU are purists when it comes to the First Amendment. Tough. And it still has nothing to do with "teaching people to be gay."
