dear dear jori, you clearly stated Ms Tripp was "the most vile." So your last post is lack of short term memory or dodge and weave. And having seen Ms Tripp speak on several occasions and seeing ditsy monica and her continued lying support of mr. rapist I have no qualms in understanding the extreme fear of total financial destruction Ms Tripp felt.
I have a family and children. To deceive another to protect ones ability to support ones family is very understandable. Ms Tripp was forced into a sick situation by the vilest that ever was. So from a book you should read. It turns out that pages 20 and 21 that discuss the issue are on line.

You continue to show a lack of understanding or cluelessness AKA stupidity.

"Ms. Tripp was told something in confidence by someone who considered her a friend and who she presented herself to as a friend. She violated that confidence. She betrayed her friend. That is vile behavior in my book."

I just had to go back and see what started this brew-ha. I see what you are saying here, and it is true in most cases. But is this behavior vile in every circumstance iyo? The former President exhibited some vile behavior, and Tripp had plenty of reason to fear for Monica's safety as well as her own. If Bill had told Monica about killing someone or some sort of behavior that you would view as worse than the POTUS preying on a gullable infatuated intern, would it still be out of line for Tripp to talk? You make the allegation as if the affair and asking a young person to lie under oath is just regular office stuff. I don't like tattle tales, but Tripp was justified in this case imo.

"The fact that you can't separate the two issues shows that you are stuck in partisan propaganda and are blinded by preconceived notions.."

I think the two events are tied together (Clinton's slimy behavior and Tripp's "violation of confidence"). What behavior do you feel is worse? Tripp violating Lewinsky's confidence, or the POTUS violating his wife's confidence, preying on infatuated and unstable intern for his sexual gratification and lying in a sexual harrasment case against himself to escape responsibility for it? Clinton's is far, far worse imo and it does look like one is defending his behavior when he so roundly criticizes the others.
