it does not matter how many times you "would" have been stopped out..you can always re buy in an uptrend and capture a lot of the move..i realize larry's system was a buy and hold trade...you must use stops...no matter what...

Here is where we agree and disagree, probably because your focus is shorter-term than mine. While I agree that stops should always be used, I generally leave a pretty big cushion to accommodate normal volatility. Of course, the size of the cushion is proportionate to the length of focus of the trade as well as the volatility of the stock. Either way, sounds like we're both pretty happy with what we're doing so there's no need to belabor the point. :-)
