Short term, all my covered calls would expire worthless (more than 100 contracts in all) and I get to keep all the premiums.

Intermedite- and long-term, JNPR should survive and come off this debacle a lot stronger. Its fundies have not deteriorated, only the macro-eco recovery is missing a beat.

I wouldn't mind a few more whipsaw actions like this so I get to do more option plays. However, three to five years down the road (or longer), I will start collecting and counting the chips, and they will be there.

PS: Actually, it's my opinion that the market had discounted a potential prewarn by JNPR when CIEN did its thing.
