I happen to disagree. The revolution in Iran had to do with the wealth in the hands of a few. I happen to think most things work that way.

As far as the government - any government - I have said many times here that they operate in their own self-interest. Nor do I think this will change. But the US at least gives back to the world in charity.

Yes, the Shah of Iran, who was hoarding the wealth of the country. No wonder the Ayatollah and other madmen wanted him evicted from Iran. I don't fault them for revolting, but make a religious institution of hate against the US is not just ignorant, it's stupid. The US is notoriously generous to countries who espouse open, moderate governments and don't violate human rights. If the Arab/Islamic countries weren't so fanatic, they could enjoy prosperity with the rest of the Western world too.
