Soy has natural phytoestrogens. These are supposedly (to my limited understanding) good for post-menopausal women because the phytoestrogens are believed less likely to be carcinogenic than the synthetic estrogen used in hormone replacement therapy.

PAMELA ANDERSON COOKS

Pamela Anderson is a great cook, says Kid Rock

Pamela Anderson is a great cook, according to her boyfriend Kid Rock.

He says people don't realise what a nice person Pamela is.

He declared his love for the former Baywatch star earlier this year.

Kid Rock told German magazine Bunte: "We like going out, enjoy partying and living life to the full, but that is the only side the public see.

"I don't think that people realise what a great cook and a nice person she is."

Pamela is set to appear in the video for Kid Rock's new single Forever, which is released in January 2002.
