In 1997, the market wasn't created, much less penetrated. Moreover, Niaspan was going against the statins as the market was created.

The company was just handed cash to market what could be first in class. Market cap plus debt is now less than 650M. 5% penetration of this market is 500M/year. There is a hurry, IMO.
