albert: Real tough day today...Weak volume again and the "ask" has been heavily loaded all day... Need to get back over $16 for a little rally to unfold...Probably need increased volume to do that...Not at all a cheery day for longs...so far!!!

Albert, Re: <we are far off from depression.> Yes, there is a long way to go, and I hope we don't, but there is a clear path there, IMO.(Actually, I really doubt we will, but I think things will get ugly enough to change some minds about doing things as usual -- read Unions and Democrats). There are also positives. Low Oil prices. The reaction of the market TODAY to the Senate's failure to follow Greenspan's prescriptions for financial health. The innate good sense of our President(Though I'm sure there will be strong dissent to that last statement). But for now, at least, I'm feeling cynical, and I have been for a while. tgpntdr
