j_a...think you kinda let yourself open to some of that abuse. While I'm not a member of Johnboy's (AG) fan club, he does have a few folks on his side.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you, too!

sorry Jeremy... had to get that in... old habits

actually, I feel more strongly than ever about ineffectual Liberal platforms regarding the economy

they dont seem to learn from mistakes in past history
they raise tax rates, only to find lower tax revenues
they prefer hand2mouth measures, than corporate aid to promote jobs
they have an aversion to tax breaks for those brackets who pay 30-35% of ALL taxes
they wouldnt know how to create jobs if their legacy depended upon it
AND IT DOES

they insist that Clinton had some responsibility in the 1990 economic expansion
what a thigh-slapping belly laugh !!!
<g> <vbg> <tsvbg>
his economic legacy was mainly marked by deregulation of telecom
and better yet, laying off typical Liberal spending spending spending
that produced a surplus

Clinton will be known as the most Republican-like Democrat Party president in modern times, economically
only economically speaking

as for his true legacy, it is focused between his legs
NOT ONE SINGLE ACCOMPLISHMENT IN HIS SECOND TERM
NOT ONE

why bother to mention Jeffords is independent?
argumentative
he switched, Repubs lost majority, end of story
now a Congressional deadlock

name one bill that has passed the Senate with work since?
that is, since Jef-fart committed demagoguery
