That's pretty good - a Virtual QuantiDate !!

And remember AMD's hyperbole - x86 64 was just a "simple" extension to the x86 architecture - and that simple extension has the two years LATE already - and getting later.

And when the ShamSter comes out, they will just BEGIN the infrastructure building process - looks like AMD may have some serious write-offs in their future.

A-M-Defunct’s use of QuantiSpeed reminds me of imaginary numbers in algebra. Like the square root of –25 would be i5. Maybe we should call their QuantiSpeed 1900+ i1900 for “imaginary 1900”

Think some mathematician back in the 17th century (21st in QuantiCenturies) first came up with the imaginary number concept. Wonder if Sanders is a descendent of that guy.
