The current Democratic Congressional leadership makes me long to have Tip O'Neill and Walter Mondale back. At least they had human personalities. It has been downhill, personality- wise, since Dukakis, who couldn't even look glad to win the nomination.......

He's always been good at putting forth that phony smile and soft voice, but last might he was beginning to look like that photo of Johnny bin Walker. I think the Bush team is skillful enough to bring that kind of pressure on him regularly in 2002. Glad to see it...
